FSPM was established with the aim of offering its clients a bespoke service and not employing the ‘one size fits all' approach adopted by many of its competitors. Robert Fowler and Keith Spenceley, the directors and founders of FSPM, firmly believe that a proactive and attentive approach is the key to successful property management and, more importantly, to having happy clients and customers.
FSPM is a firm of Chartered Surveyors and is entitled to use the "Regulated by RICS" designation. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is the world's leading body when it comes to professional standards in land, property and construction. In a world where more and more people demand greater certainty of professional standards and ethics, attaining RICS status is the recognised mark of property professionalism. Whether bought as a home or as a buy-to-let investment, a residential property will undoubtedly be the largest single investment the majority of people will make. Similarly, the appearance of one's commercial premises can say a lot about the running of the occupying business. A poorly managed property can have a significant impact on the value of that investment or its appeal to a potential tenant. Above all, FSPM never loses sight of the fact that the properties under its management will be someone's home or place of work.
Robert Fowler is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (MIRPM) and holds a degree in Building Surveying. Having started his career working with a regional developer and freehold commercial property owner, he moved to property management in 1997.
Initially Robert was engaged to provide Building Surveying expertise to Property Managers and their clients, specifying and supervising complex refurbishment and redecoration projects on large residential developments.
Since 1997 he has gained considerable experience in the management of both residential and commercial property. Robert provides FSPM with much of its residential property management expertise. He is actively involved in the day to day management of the schemes in its charge, as well as providing advice to prospective clients who are looking to ensure their properties are most effectively managed.

Keith Spenceley, a graduate of the University of Sheffield, is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (MIRPM). A property manager since 1984, he has operational experience in the management of all types of commercial, residential and leasehold property. Keith was previously Compliance Director of one of the UK's largest firms of property managers and his skills were recognised by a number of major lenders who appointed him as an LPA Receiver to various residential property portfolios.
As well as being involved in residential property management, Keith is responsible for the commercial portfolios managed by the firm. He also deals with all areas of property compliance within FSPM, working with clients, including those who engage him as an external consultant, to guide them through the maze of complex legislation surrounding property ownership.

Michael Stiers is a consultant surveyor with more
than 50 years' experience of property management. He is a Fellow of the
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and one of the founding
Fellows of the Institute of Residential Property Management (FIRPM).
A former council member of the Association of Residential Managing Agents, Michael was previously the partner in charge of the property management department of one of the largest practices of surveyors and estate agents in East Anglia.

Jacqueline Fowler has worked within the sector for approaching 30 years, both as a leasehold property manager and as a service charge accountant. Her primary role is overseeing the client accounting activities within FSPM, her property management experience enabling her to fully appreciate the complexities of service charge accounting.
